Revised Packing Dates (Horley)<\/h3>\n

The packing team usually meets on the first and third Friday of each month between 13:30 and 15:30, to receive donations of clothing, bedding and other items as listed on our donation guide. The items are inspected, sorted and packed for onward transmittal to Romania – new volunteers are always welcome to join the team.
\nThe planned dates for the start of 2026 are the 6th and 20th February, then the 6th March. <\/b>

Packing for Romania<\/b><\/h3>\n

~ The packing team in Horley meets at the Horley Baptist Church building which is on Court Lodge Road, RH6 8RG, opposite the shopping parade. The team does not meet<\/b> on Good Friday or on the Fridays during the Christmas and New Year seasons and usually takes a break throughout August, resuming activities early in September. <\/p>\n

~ The clothes collection box at St Francis’s Church in Horley is open 24-7 as usual. However, collections from this box will be subject to local restrictions, in particular avoid using the box during church service times. Please do not leave items outside the box<\/b> <\/p>\n

Please remember to check our acceptable items<\/a> list before donating items for Romania. Note that there are special requirements for the packing of certain items. For up-to-date information please contact your local co-ordinators<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please do not send prescription medicines.<\/font color=\"red\"><\/strong> These drugs are potentially dangerous if misused. AN does not have the expertise or the legal authority to distribute them safely and local pharmacies cannot accept them. Disposal becomes a serious problem and they are a waste of precious load space. Non-prescription medicines, vitamins, energy drinks and unused items such as bandages or syringes are no longer<\/b>acceptable.<\/p>\n
